Stewards Decisions may be appealed by the team manager up until one week after the chequered flag, under the condition that they can show new evidence that supports their case. Team managers may only appeal decisions in which their own car is the offending party. The fee for an appeal is € 5 and must be paid when submitting the appeal. Appeals are only reviewed after payment is received. If the appeal is won by the submitting party, the fee is reimbursed. If the appeal is dismissed or withdrawn, the fee is not reimbursed. Appeals are reviewed by members of the management that were not involved in the original decision. They will either support the original decision and dismiss the appeal or come to a different decision based on the provided evidence and their own review of the original incident. The outcome of the appeal is the final decision.
