Race Control
Tasks
- Monitoring on-track safety during races
- Witnessing and reporting incidents during races
- Investigating and penalising reported incidents during and after races
- Making consistent decisions using our regulations and penalty guidelines
Requirements
- Must be a member of iRacing with an active subscription
- Must own at least 1 of the used cars and all used tracks
- Must be able to work according to guidelines
Perks
- Volunteer fee of € 5 / hour
- Further perks (i.e. compensation for iRacing subscription and content) depend on the generated revenue
Community Moderator
Tasks
- Monitoring Discord for breaches of the rules
- Applying warnings and time-outs when required
- Escalating suspension/ban-worthy behaviour to the management
- Answering questions on Discord
- Answering (or escalating) support tickets on the website
Requirements
- Must be active frequently
- Must be able to work according to guidelines
Perks
- Signup discount of 20% for a maximum of 3 cars
- Further perks depend on the generated revenue
Management Team
Tasks
- Managing a specific department (i.e. Race Control, Communications, Social Media), giving you responsibility over completion of any corresponding tasks
- Deciding (collectively) on rule changes, procedures, sanctions, et cetera
- Answering questions on Discord
- Answering (or escalating) support tickets on the website
Requirements
- Must be active very frequently (preferably daily, but at least 3 times a week)
- Must actively engage in discussions regarding rule changes, procedures and sanctions
- Further requirements depend on the specific role
Perks
- 15% share of all profits made by the Digital Motorsports Club
- Free signup for 1 car
- Further perks depend on the generated revenue
* Usually, applications for Race Control and Moderator positions are accepted easily. Obviously, the Management positions will require a few conversations to determine you’re a good fit for the organisation and which roles you’ll be fulfilling.
